About the Role: Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, utilizing a variety of teaching resources and strategies. Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning and inform future instruction. Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum, share best practices with colleagues, and participate actively in departmental meetings and initiatives. Offer support and guidance to students through extracurricular mathematics clubs, tutoring sessions, or intervention programs as needed. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics. A strong and up-to-date understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective, research-based teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for mathematics and a demonstrated ability to make the subject accessible, engaging, and relevant for all learners, regardless of their prior attainment or background.
