Located in Inverness in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home provides high quality nursing care for residents affected by general frailty and also has specialist units for those living with dementia and mental health conditions.
As a Catering Assistant, Meallmore will allocate you your own mentor, as well as a comprehensive induction process. But why stop there? Your role as a Meallmore Catering Assistant will include:
* Keeping the kitchen areas clean and tidy
* Supporting the catering team with basic food preparation as they create seasonal meals for our residents
* Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
* Assist with specialist dietary requirements
* Serve nutritional meals
Required skills:
* Basic knowledge of food preparation
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene
* The ability to stand for extended periods
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* The ability to work in a team
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Effective communication skills

Salary: £11.50 per hour + benefits + overtime
Hours: Full-Time or part-time available
