We are seeking an Accounts Administrator/Assistant based in Northallerton to join our client's dynamic finance team and become a vital part of their mission to deliver exceptional service. We are looking for a proactive individual who is committed to maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy within the department, supporting the overall business goals. This role is ideal for someone with a good knowledge of accounts payable and offers an excellent opportunity to develop and broaden their skillset. Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Administrator/Assistant: • Ensure internal and external documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant• Provide outstanding support to internal and external client• Assist with all internal and external audits• Process invoices promptly and accurately • Matching, batching, and coding invoices• Liaise with vendors to address payment inquiries and discrepancies• Regularly reconcile supplier statements to maintain up-to-date accounts• Support the department with ad-hoc tasks Required Skills: • Proficient in operating financial systems (SAP experience is desirable) • Strong IT skills and Excel skills• Ability to work within financial guidelines and legislation• Enthusiastic with a trustworthy and ethical nature• Excellent communication skills on all levels To be successful as an Accounts Administrator/Assistant, you will be an organised and dedicated individual, with a keen eye for detail and experience in a similar role or covering similar duties. In return you will receive a salary up to £27,000, working for an established and ever-growing business. You will be joining a collaborative team, working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm.
