Admin Officer
We are currently recruiting for Admin Officers to work with one of our fantastic Public Sector clients in Leicester LE1. This is a 5-month temporary position initially, with a good chance of extension, but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
The Agency Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.
Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
1. Preparing papers and files for Tribunal (General Regulatory Chamber) and/or Gender Recognition Panel.
2. Producing tribunal documents.
3. General photocopying, scanning and filing.
4. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
5. Monitoring office email inbox, sifting, linking and delivering to appropriate teams.
6. Post opening and dispatch.
7. To work to workload targets in terms of throughput and accuracy.
8. To deliver a helpful, prompt, polite and 'right first time' service to our internal and external customers.
9. Use internal case management systems, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel.
Typical Qualifications And Experience
* 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent), NVQ Business Administration Level 2, or suitable clerical experience.
* Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Be able to provide 3 years of referencing and pass a DBS check.

* Be able to work with very confidential and sensitive information.
Standard hours are 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm - can be flexible).
Pay rate of £11.59 per hour, increasing to £12.53 after 12 weeks which is paid weekly.
