Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Teacher needed for providing 1:1 tutoring to Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs.

We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
We are looking for SEN / SEND teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners by providing 1:1 holistic tutoring.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey.

* The gross pay for this role is between £28 p/h - £33 p/h (constituted of a base rate 12.07% holiday pay)

The SEN / SEND Teacher role:
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
* Supporting young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey
* Delivering flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Teacher tasks and responsibilities:
* Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring
* Providing holistic and engaging sessions which meet the needs of the young person
* Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
SEN / SEND Teacher requirements:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
* Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
SEN / SEND Teacher employment status:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, providing short-term engagements
* You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE
* We do not offer any set amount of work nor expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring / teaching position
