Alternative Provision Practitioner – Daventry, NN11. U-Educate are currently looking for Alternative Provision Practitioners to work in a 'school within a school' setting. Our AP team offer 1:1 academic mentoring and behaviour support, counselling, parental and family support as well as Thrive wellbeing interventions and we are looking for practitioners to join the team to support the social, emotional and mental health of children and young people. Your responsibilities will include: Support the social, emotional and mental health of students you work with Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. 1:1 and small group academic mentoring and tutoring – English, Maths and Functional Skills Leading the AP team to deliver the programme to a small group of pupils Requirements Proven experience working with children within an AP educational setting Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months) We are very keen to speak with candidates who are interested in this role and feel that they meet the requirements stated above.
