We are looking for a Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our Residential Litigation Department. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 year's experience in most, if not all the below areas of work that we engage in.
Areas of work to cover:
* Debt Recovery - small claims/fast-track/Multi-track
* Breach of Lease - County Court Action/FTT Action
* Forfeiture and Possession Proceedings
* Lease Extensions & Variations
* FTT Applications
* Lease Analysis
* Enforcement of Judgements
* Providing advice to clients re major works consultations/ s20b notices/ lease variations/ lease structure/ notice of repairs
* Ability to support our Pre-Litigation team with any queries.
* Attendance at Industry events/conferences for BD purposes, along with client meetings as required
Ideal Candidate: -
* Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of work covered above (Strictly Long Leasehold)
* A working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, a familiarity with leases and enforcement of judgements
* Proactive, self-motivated, organised and reliable
* A strong academic background
* Excellent but concise communication skills, both orally and in writing
* Strong organisation and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
* Possess attention to detail
* A friendly and personable approach with colleagues and clients and an ability to deal with matters sensitively and explain complex issues to clients.
* Ability to work either alone or collaboratively with other team members, and to use initiative and demonstrate sound judgement
* Strong IT and document management skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly.
* Must be familiar with the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985/1987 (Long Leasehold)
Salary - £35,000 - £60,000
Days - Monday - Friday
Hours 09:00 - 17:00
