What the Job Involves Conducting occupational therapy assessments, targeting deficits and planning interventions to meet clients' self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure needs. Working collaboratively with clients, families, and caregivers to set and achieve occupational therapy goals as part of an overall care plan. Implementing individual or group interventions using graded activities to reach therapeutic goals, and monitoring their effectiveness. Engaging in care coordination, discharge planning, and liaising with various health and social care sectors to provide a coordinated service. Ensuring appropriate documentation of client information and interventions in line with professional standards. Participating in service development initiatives, training, clinical governance, and contributing to the planning and audit of clinical practices.
