Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust
Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to join the MSK Physiotherapy Team, providing administrative support to both our patients and Physiotherapists.
The successful applicant will be based at Princess of Wales Community Hospital for four days a week (e.g., Tues-Fri, 8-4). There is then a requirement to cover phone lines and appointment bookings for Malvern Community Hospital for 6 hours (e.g., Monday 8-2). This can be done remotely from the Princess of Wales Community Hospital; however, occasional travel to Malvern may be required. You will have the opportunity to learn all different aspects of administrative work within this service as part of a dynamic, caring, and supportive appointments team.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic candidate with good interpersonal and communication skills, good administrative and organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to provide a confidential, quality service.
This post is a permanent position for thirty-six hours, or a part-time post on a job share to fulfill the hours. The working days will be across Monday to Friday.
Please note the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role; to apply, you must have current right to work in the UK status.
Main Duties of the Job
Full training will be given to the successful applicant for all in-house processes and IT packages. You will work as part of a team in each base and share additional admin duties between you. The role involves data input and booking appointments on our patient clinical notes system, customer service through taking phone calls, handling patient queries, ordering equipment, as well as organizing clinics and other general admin duties.
