Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of customer’s purchases, while ensuring total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
1. Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle
2. Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent
3. Accurately package and prepare items for home/business delivery
4. Schedule delivery route in the most efficient manner to ensure timely delivery with the least travel required
5. Collect payments from customers including cash, check, and charge transactions
6. Accurately make change
7. Inform patients of prescription counseling services when delivering prescriptions
8. Proper processing of receipts upon completion of delivery
9. Ensure all necessary vehicle maintenance is performed on the company delivery vehicle, including maintenance of interior and exterior
10. Replenish delivery supplies as needed
11. Greet customers using appropriate greeting and maintaining customer service levels as needed
12. React to potential shoplifters following company policy
13. Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment
14. Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
15. Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy
16. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
1. Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED
Job requirements:
1. Must be 21 years of age or older
2. Must possess a valid Driver's License in good standing
Required for Vermont Employees only:
1. Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Experience:
1. Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position
Special Conditions of Employment:
1. Drug test
2. Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
3. Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position
Compensation:
$15.50 - 16.00 an hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
