We are looking for:
1. An excellent classroom practitioner in EYFS and Key Stage 1 with high expectations of pupils’ behaviour and standards.
2. Someone who will work collaboratively with other members of staff, be flexible, well organised and enthusiastic.
3. Someone who can work through a child-led approach providing an imaginative and exciting curriculum.
4. Someone who will continue to develop our strong personal development offer.
The successful candidate will:

6. Continue to engage with families and promote home-school links.
7. Support the school’s strong focus on personal development and be willing to be part of the wider school community.
8. Know how to keep our children protected and safe, and be willing to take on a role as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead in our school (as we recognise our youngest children need the highest level of protection and care).
We can offer you:
1. A brilliant opportunity to progress your career in a school with a real family feel.
2. A committed staff who put our children first and centre.
3. A supportive parent group (FOLS), Local Governing Body and wider local community.

Enhanced DBS checks are required for the post as are excellent professional references. The school is an academy as part of the ‘Good Shepherd Trust’. The successful candidate’s employment would be with the Good Shepherd Trust although the terms and conditions would be comparable to Cumberland Council.
