Are you an experienced Accounts professional seeking a new opportunity? My client is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in Stockton-on-Tees on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will manage daily financial operations and provide support to the wider finance team. Key Responsibilities: Processing invoices on Sage Managing Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Conducting bank reconciliations Handling weekly and monthly payroll Assisting with monthly accounts preparation Preparing financial statements Completing VAT returns Supporting the Financial Controller with administrative duties and yearly accounts preparation Essential Skills: Strong Excel skills Experience with Sage Proven experience in Accounts Additional information: Hours: 8am-5pm (42.5 hours per week) Hybrid working options (discussed individually) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 4% pension contribution Free on-site parking If you’re passionate about finance and looking to make an impact within a forward-thinking company, we’d love to hear from you
