ABOUT THE ROLE
A newly created opportunity has arisen to join this established, but growing global business based in Leeds. As the Demand Planner you will create and analyse data throughout the full life cycle of products, to ensure the right product is in the right place at the time in line with the company strategy to support sustained revenue growth. This role will report into the Head of Product.
Key responsibilities:
* Analyse sales data and trends across the businesses full product portfolio
* Forecast stock requirements for all DCs across the business
* Identify risks of over/under stocks, using analysis to plan for sales missed due to out of stocks
* Set up and run trading meetings with Sales and Amazon Leads to plan forecasts and review previous forecast accuracy
* Present sales analysis data at product range reviews to assist with development strategy and future forecast of new lines, managing life cycle of existing lines to drop/exit
* Propose sales promotions/reductions for either seasonal reductions or for the purpose of clearing over-stocks, or marketing events to drive revenue
* Support the product team and the Far East Merchandising team with Critical Path Management for purchase orders
