About the role
In the role of Support Worker, you will:
* Promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of young people.
* Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with young people.
* Encourage the development of individual interests of young people.
* Have a desire to learn – full training will be provided to achieve a Childcare Diploma level 3.
About you
To be successful for the role of Support Worker you will:
* Have an understanding and commitment to the role - including weekends and bank holidays.
* Be willing to undertake sleep-in duties as part of a flexible rota.
* Participate in activities and ensure we provide young people with a place they feel at home.
* Be capable of working on your own initiative.
* Have good interpersonal skills and be a positive team player.
* Have a desire to engage, motivate and encourage the young people in our homes.
Experience of supporting vulnerable young people is desired but not essential. Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level.
About the hours & rewards
There are full-time and part-time positions available for the role of Support Worker, with a salary on offer of £26,450 to £28,915 per annum, pro rata. The salary is dependent on experience and qualification, includes sleep-in shifts and company pension contributions. Benefits include:
