Your New Role… At Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, we pride ourselves in being renowned for our world class customer service and best in class products. So, what makes a fantastic Retail Associate? You see a queue at the till? You jump on to reduce the customers waiting time. We’ve run out of Gryffindor Jumpers? Your Role Accountabilities…
11. Proactively engage with and assist our customers.
12. Operating our tills in an efficient manner.
13. Help to ensure products are available to customers at all times.
14. Ensure our sales targets are achieved by fully maximising all sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience…
15. Effective, confident communication, engaging proactively with visitors and colleagues.
16. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
17. The ability to keep calm under pressure.
18. The initiative to identify jobs that need completed.
19. An ability to work at pace whilst maintaining great customer service.
Working Pattern…
20. We have multiple intake dates across the year which would require you to complete 2 weeks full time training (Monday-Friday), before starting your contracted hours.
21. Contracts are for 32 or 40 hours per week, and you will be required to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
22. Your normal hours of work are between 7am and 10pm. Occasionally working hours could run until 1am for events, for which you will be notified in advance.
23. Availability to work late nights, events and to support stock replenishment.
Department Overview... Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is the only place in the world to showcase the authentic sets, props and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter films at the location where they were made. It has attracted over 14 million visitors since opening in 2012, features retail stores with merchandise celebrating the Harry Potter film series and has received over 40,000+ reviews on TripAdvisor with 96% rating the experience as ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’. Since launching, additions to the Studio Tour include Platform 9 ¾ featuring the original Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forest and Gringotts Wizarding Bank. In December 2018, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden acquired the Platform 9 ¾ group which sells Wizarding World merchandise, souvenirs, and collectibles. Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
