Job Vacancy: Community Teacher
Location: Northamptonshire, East Midlands
Contract: Permanent/Full Time
Salary: £30,000-£40,000

A secondary SEMH school in Northamptonshire is recruiting Community Teachers on a full-time permanent basis. All roles are starting ASAP, and previous SEN/SEMH experience is desirable.
About You:
1. Qualifications: Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it. Degree or equivalent, with Maths and English to at least Level 2. Specialist teaching qualification in a chosen subject (desirable).
2. Experience: Experience teaching across the secondary age range, with a proven track record as a creative and adaptable teacher who inspires and motivates students.
3. Knowledge: Understanding of equality of opportunity, safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion issues, particularly in alternative education settings that serve vulnerable populations.
4. Management & Organization Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage student behaviour effectively and demonstrate a commitment to pastoral care in an alternative education setting.
