Ford Halewood Transmissions, a leader in electric vehicle technology, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Skilled Craftsman to join our team in our newly transformed Heat Treat Department.
As the first site in Europe to manufacture EV components, our Halewood facility is undergoing a significant transformation, and we are investing £355m into this cutting-edge project.

Main Responsibilities
* Execute preventative and planned maintenance on high-temperature carburising furnaces, focusing on mechanical, electrical, PLC, and refrigeration systems.
* Gather and analyse data to identify and implement machine improvements, enhancing performance and OEE.
* Perform root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
* Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Completed Mechanical Level 4 Apprenticeship
* Experience working in a heat treat production environment, specifically with high-temperature carburising furnaces
* Strong proficiency in PLC and automation systems
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to operational excellence
