Their aluminium products are manufactured in the UK to BS and EU standards and are used by well-known brands like Costa, Harrods, and McDonalds. DIA Systems also provides high-quality toughened glass protection screens used in various industries.
Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and building lasting relationships with clients. This role requires a results-driven individual who is enthusiastic about identifying sales prospects, managing the sales process, and consistently achieving sales targets to increase company revenue and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and research.
* Qualify leads and convert them into potential customers.
* Identify and attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and expand the company's presence.
* Sales Strategy Development:
* Develop sales strategies to target new markets and increase penetration in existing markets.
* Analyze competitor activity and adjust sales approaches accordingly.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted promotional strategies.
* Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster repeat business.
* Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
* Deliver compelling sales presentations, both in-person and virtually, to potential clients.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable deals for both the client and the company.
* Target Achievement:
* Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
* Market Research & Feedback:
* Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
* Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings and customer satisfaction.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven track record in sales with a focus on new business development and market expansion.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a proactive approach.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quoting in accounting packages.
* Experience in Aluminium Extrusions Industry preferred.
Previous Experience in sales & marketing of 2 years is required for this position.
