About the Role
As a leader in the second line of defence Risk function, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering independent oversight of change risk management. You will own, maintain, and embed an effective change risk oversight framework for the Group.
You will drive change risk oversight activity, delivering support and challenge in relation to the identification and control of change risk across our business with effective reporting and governance. The key focus will be on change and transformation projects that support the Group’s strategic priorities. At times you will exercise judgement to provide stakeholders with a risk proportionate assessment of change related activity that considers effective and efficient risk management options against the cost of control.
About You
With experience of working within a risk, change governance or audit function, you will have extensive knowledge of change risk management practice and good knowledge of operational risk and operational resilience regulation and of data/information security.
You will be experienced in providing challenge, guidance and leadership on change risk management practices with the ability to produce committee reports and MI, ideally whilst working in a regulated financial services environment.
Possessing the ability to engage, motivate, and support others to achieve shared goals and promote an inclusive culture whilst being able to provide considered responses to challenges and having the confidence to challenge effectively at all levels.
