Tech variety. Autonomy. Real work-life balance. No micromanagement. Full admin access to M365, Windows Servers, routers, switches and firewalls.
There are plenty of IT jobs that promise “variety” and “balance.” This one actually delivers.
There are MSP jobs where you sit behind a screen all day, slowly turning into a sentient ticketing machine. This is not that job.
You’ll be joining a well-established and growing MSP that’s built a reputation for doing things properly—both for clients and staff. The company has grown steadily over the years, and the team has grown with it. They’re serious about their clients, serious about doing good work, and not very serious about anything else. The environment is relaxed, supportive, and genuinely collaborative.
Why engineers love working here:
1. Autonomy and trust. You’re not micromanaged. You’re given problems to solve, not just tickets to close.
2. Real variety. You won’t be stuck on one client or one toolset. You’ll work across different environments, industries, and technologies—no two days are the same.
3. Human-first culture. You’ll be part of a team that values relationships—internally and with clients. People say good morning. They’ll ask how your weekend was. They’ll notice if you’re off your game and offer to help.
4. Growth without chaos. The business is expanding, but not at the expense of quality or sanity. They take on new clients carefully, so workloads remain fair and the culture stays intact.
5. Work-life balance that’s not just a slogan. Standard work week. Overtime is rare. If you’re here after hours, people will ask if something’s wrong.
The role:
You’ll be providing mainly onsite support and some projects to a growing client base of small to mid-sized businesses (think home offices to 100-user environments). Most of your work will be support, but you’ll also get stuck into project work and the occasional bit of consulting or solution design.
Tech you’ll work with regularly:
1. Windows desktops and servers on-prem
2. Network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, packet capture)
3. Backup tech (e.g., ShadowProtect or similar)
4. RMM and PSA tools (Autotask, Datto, or similar)
What we’re looking for:
1. Someone with MSP or small business IT experience
2. Broad technical skills and a generalist mindset - sys admin level skills not just user support and permissions.
3. Strong interpersonal skills—you enjoy working directly with people
4. A calm, friendly, and professional approach, even when things are going sideways
5. A genuine interest in solving problems and helping businesses run better
And the extras:
1. Bonuses paid regularly based on company performance and growth
2. Late-model phone and laptop provided
3. Supportive team culture—no egos, no blame games, just people who like what they do and do it well
If you’re looking for a role where you’re trusted to get on with it, where variety is guaranteed, and where the people are just genuinely good to work with—this could be the one.
