The ideal candidate will have experience of working in time critical digital print using variable personalised data, which requires multiple stock changes in a 100% quality focused environment. You will be highly computer literate and will have good knowledge of workflow management and the management of print queues. This position will require you to deal directly with end users, so customer service focus is essential. There may also be a requirement to provide cover in the high-volume inkjet print department working on Canon CS3700 printers with booklet makers. Experience in this area is also desirable, though full training will be provided. Although the role will be primarily based at Papworth Everard, there will also be a requirement to work at our Primary site at Whittlesford. What we ask You will require the following experience: Working knowledge of transactional print, unstructured print Working knowledge of mid to high-volume digital toner and inkjet print equipment, ideally Canon VP6000 / CS3700. Candidates with digital volume colour print experience would also be advantageous. Excellent job planning skills Has worked within a competitive commercial environment A knowledge of job composition software and management of print queues is desirable Good understanding of digital print technologies within the mid to high volume production areas.
