We are recruiting for a Possession Planner to join us here at Octavius.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
Ensuring that our trackside activities comply with rail industry safety standards, procedures, and Network Rail Rule Book requirements. You'll play a key role in planning Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and managing documentation for track access. This includes accurate planning of Safe Work Packs (SSOWPs), attending possession meetings, and overseeing the compliance and safety of people working near rail lines.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks, collaborating with internal and external clients, including Network Rail, while managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

You are well-organised, determined, and have a thorough understanding of the rail industry's safety-critical requirements. You're experienced in rail planning, operations, and possession planning with the ability to deliver high standards in a safety-first environment.

* Experience with PPS, RailHub/Ontrac systems
* Excellent planning skills
* Knowledge of COSS/PC/ES/PICOP and Electrified Lines Working Instructions
* Sentinel Safe Work Planner (SSOWP) competence
* Strong communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* GCSE-level English & Maths
