We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking Registered nurse to join the Ophthalmology Service at NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital.
The Eye Centre is a bespoke, purpose built center, integrating Ophthalmology Out Patient Clinics, Pre & post Op areas and Ophthalmology Theatres. The new unit aims to ensure a high level of quality and provision of elective Cataract services to meet the demands of an aging population.
The post holder should possess a caring and compassionate demeanor towards patients and staff, good communication skills, and display a "Can Do" attitude. The post holder must be able to priorities conflicting demands to deliver patient and service needs.
The Eye Centre Clinical Education and Nurse Management Team will support the successful candidate to achieve all aspects of the role requirements.
We are looking for a Registered Adult Nurse with a First Level nursing degree (or equivalent). Ophthalmology theatre and/or clinic experience is desirable but not essential.
