Project Management Apprentice
As a Project Manager Apprentice at AVL, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop your project management skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while pursuing formal training through a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and assist during the quotation process.
2. Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of projects.
3. Coordinate project activities and resources to meet project objectives.
4. Monitor project progress and report on performance to senior managers, highlighting any escalation points.
5. Create and maintain project documentation throughout the life cycle of the project.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, sales representatives, and suppliers.
7. Chair regular project meetings and provide administrative support.
8. Identify, manage, and track project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
9. Identify changes to the original project scope and highlight any potential impact on timeline and cost.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management team.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
YOUR PROFILE:
Essential:
1. A-level in Mathematics (grade B or above)
2. A-level in English (grade C or above)
3. A keen interest in project management and engineering.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
9. Eligibility to enroll in a Level 4 apprenticeship program.
Preferable:
1. A-level in Science, Computer Science, or Business (grade B or above).
2. Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data with attention to detail, generate reports, and make informed decisions is crucial for managing project performance and outcomes.
3. Relevant Work Experience: Previous internships or work experience in project management or a technology-related role.
