If you have a passion for brands, an eagerness to learn and are looking to kickstart your career in account management, we’d love to hear from you.
At Sun Branding, we grow high performing brands through brilliant brand packaging. We help brands deliver a stronger value proposition to their customers through our five services; Creative, Graphics, Technology, Legal and Sustainability. All under one roof.
We’re on the lookout for our next Brand Catalyst; someone who is energetic, naturally organised and great at building relationships.
About the role
As a Trainee Account Executive, you’ll be right at the heart of the action, supporting our client services team based in our impressive Albion Mills studio. You’ll help deliver exceptional creative and graphics projects that bring brands to life. From organising project workflows to building strong relationships with clients and internal teams, you’ll learn the ropes while contributing to the success of some incredible projects.
This role is all about learning and growing. We don’t expect you to know everything from day one — you’ll get all the training and support you need to succeed. With every project, you’ll build your confidence, develop your expertise, and play an integral role in helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Senior Account Manager and Client Services team in managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering high quality creative and packaging projects.
2. Assist the team in managing project workflows, ensuring all deliverables are on time, on brief, and exceed client expectations.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
4. Learn to interpret client briefs, helping to ensure project deliverables align with client goals and brand guidelines.
5. Provide support across all aspects of project coordination, from handling feedback to tracking key details and deadlines.
6. Maintain accurate project documentation, helping to keep everything on track and running smoothly.
7. Learn to handle challenges proactively, suggesting solutions and maintain client satisfaction.
Skills
1. A natural organiser – with a knack for keeping multiple plates spinning while maintaining attention to detail.
2. Strong communication – ability to build rapport easily, facilitate clear communication across teams and adapt messaging to suit different audiences.
3. Relationship building – skilled at developing and nurturing trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams to foster collaboration and long-term loyalty.
4. Problem-solving – Resourceful, proactive and solutions-focused, with a knack of applying 'Magic + Logic' to quickly identify issues and propose effective client-centred solutions.
5. Attention to detail – thorough and meticulous, ensuring all project details align with client expectations and quality standards.
6. Eager to learn – enthusiastic about developing new skills, processes, and systems, with a proactive attitude towards personal and professional growth.
7. Team player – collaborative and supportive, always ready to pitch in and help the wider team achieve their goals.
8. Adaptable and flexible – thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust to changing project priorities and demands with ease.
Experience
1. While no direct account management experience is required, we’re looking for someone who demonstrates enthusiasm and a passion for building relationships and delivering great work.
2. Shows evidence of strong organisational skills and attention to detail, whether through work, education, or extracurricular activities.
3. Has a basic understanding of branding and design, with a desire to broaden their knowledge in these areas.
4. Is motivated, self-starting, and eager to make a real impact in their first role.
