What we offer: workshop engineer To carry out maintenance and repairs to equipment within the Workshop, maintaining documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures. • To prepare FLT’s to the standard required for STR rental and USED sales, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible • To adhere to all company H&S and Environmental and site policies, procedures and practices and ensure we operate in an environmentally safe workplace. • Ensure K1SS and all paperwork/IT systems are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers • Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly • Work under own initiative without constant supervision • To ensure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Manager if in arrears • Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times. • To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct • Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition and report any failures • To take on any reasonable additional duties as required by the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Workshop • Any other duties which arise as a result of duties as above This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be exhaustive but is to be used as a guideline for the job in question There is a need for a flexible approach to this job in order for the company to achieve its objectives Tasks and Qualifications: • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent associated occupation • Electrical hydraulic and/or mechanical competencies • Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal colleagues • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Complete tasks to a high standard • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail • A positive and can-do attitude • To deliver first class customer service at all times • Flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the role • A desire to be a Linde/STILL brand ambassador
