We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor with a minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in maritime security, to lead our team at Birkenhead Port, working 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Job Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of security staff, ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.
* Oversee legislative searches and patrols for passengers, vehicles, and port areas, exceeding compliance standards.
* Maintain effective communication with customer staff, ensuring smooth operations.
* Handle rostering and ensure all shifts meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Deliver top-notch customer service to passengers at the port, ensuring a secure and positive experience.
* Good written and spoken English language.
* Correctly recording, reporting, and documenting high quality reports (verbal and/or written).
* Achieving and encouraging high standard of customer care and providing an effective shift presence.
* Any other duties as determined by the Management Team.
* Reduced price travel via Stena Line. A varied and interesting site working alongside the customer staff and police whilst protecting members of the public.
Essential Skills
* Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
* Active SIA Licence. SG licence - DS or CP
* Minimum 4 years preferred but not required. Maritime Security experience preferred
* Within 20 miles of the site
* Experience in managing, leading and motivating others
* Excellent organisational, customer service and communication skills.
