Job summary We require a permanent Exercise Physiologist to work as part of the Exercise Physiology team within the Therapies Department at Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (LHCH). 30 hours per week with Wednesday as the non-working day. Working hours may vary on Mondays to cover the early evening Pulmonary Rehabilitation class. Main duties of the job We provide specialised exercise therapy to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programmes in LHCH, Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trusts (LUHFT) and community settings within Liverpool.You will be qualified to degree level in Exercise Physiology, be dynamic and motivated, with experience of exercise training, assessment and prescription. Experience of working with clinical populations is desirable but not essential.Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in delivering excellent patient-centred care.
