I am looking for a candidate with experience in technical leadership or significant experience in Microsoft 365 configuration and administration across applications and services such as Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange, and Entra ID. You should have a demonstrated history of providing 2nd and 3rd line support to the M365 app suite. Familiarity with implementing Teams telephony, Copilot, and managing storage is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience with Windows and Exchange PowerShell would also be beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential, as I need someone who can effectively collaborate with teams across the university and influence technical decisions for the platform. Additionally, I expect you to have the ability to mentor and support junior staff in their ongoing development.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the M365 Manager with the adoption and development of the Microsoft 365 platform. You will provide technical leadership across all aspects of Microsoft 365 applications and services. Collaboration is crucial, as you will work closely with various teams across the university, including Cybersecurity, IAM, Cloud, DevOps, Architecture, and technical support, to deliver solutions that meet our business requirements.
Description
I am excited to offer a competitive salary ranging from £47,874 to £63,000, along with 26 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and an additional 8 campus closed days, totaling 42 days of holiday. The position will require 1-2 days per month on-site, and we provide a generous employer pension contribution of 14.5% (21.6% overall).
