Job summary We are seeking a qualified sonographer with professional registration to join our bank, working ad hoc sessions across both the main and obstetric ultrasound departments. Main duties of the job To organise and co-ordinate the area to which they are rostered, undertaking general and Doppler exams ensuring that work is appropriately prioritised and working according to their professional training. To maintain clinical standards according to the departments written protocols and guidelines, ensuring that patient care is paramount in the general ultrasound department and obstetric unit. On a daily basis to undertake a wide range of complex ultrasound examinations interpreting and analysing the clinical and non-clinical facts on the request card, following established protocols in a timely and confident manner. This will require an in depth knowledge of equipment and its capabilities to be able to adapt technique to suit patient condition.
