We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teaching assistant with experience of both EYFS and Key Stage One. This exciting opportunity would give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with multiple students and classes, supporting both individual and groups of learners. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to develop and lead interventions which support children’s social communication, speech and early phonological understanding both in class and during unstructured times of the school day.We need: 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 3.30pm (30 mins lunch) Term time only (includes INSET Days) The successful candidate will have:experience of working in KS1 and EYFS the skills to build a positive, nurturing relationship that models inclusion, patience and high expectations experience of working as part of a team committed to building resilient, independent learners a good understanding of phonics a good understating of SEND and the SEND Code of Practice ideally have experience with implementing effective intervention have a knowledge of IT skills and understand how IT can be used to support learning a commitment to our Christian Values In return, we can offer: a welcoming environment in which the needs of pupils are at the centre of all we do.a dedicated team with a wide range of experience access to continued professional learning the opportunity to join a forward thinking school at the start of an exciting journey.
