External: Dartfish, Premier League clubs & Football League clubs, FA, Universities/colleges, FAYCD, and PFA. Salary: Sessional fee Location: Cheltenham Town FC Training Ground, Cheltenham, GL51 9RX / Home based Working Pattern and Work base Casual Worker Contract ● Flexible working arrangements/hours ● Weekend sessional work / work from home (Game takes place on Saturday and Sunday morning) ● Required to work across different bases Travel: Regular travel to fixtures, meetings and other events in connection with performance of the duties detailed below. Overall purpose of the job: Provide Match Day Capture, analysis and sharing of footage. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Personal growth: ● Undertake self-development to ensure knowledge in relation to all aspect of your role is up-to-date and forward thinking ● Build relationships throughout the Academy and broader Role: ● Home games 9-12’s to be captured live with VEO / Camera ● Tag games live where possible / Tag post game if necessary (away fixtures) ● Complete Goal Data as required ● Share all tags to Dartfish TV to the correct age group collections ● Liaise with fulltime academy staff on match day and editing requirements on a weekly basis. ● Attend 6 weekly CPD sessions and training Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post and to assist the Lead Academy Analyst About The Candidate This role would suit a soon to be graduate and/or someone with a minimum of six months experience as a volunteer, placement student or casual staff member, looking to gain paid experience tagging/coding Academy football matches. Qualifications ●Essential - Safeguarding qualification (or willing to complete) ●Desirable but not essential - Degree in Sports Analyst or equivalent (or working towards, ideally in your last year of degree) ●We value those looking to gain experiences and we are happy where possible to support other future learning opportunities to enable you to be successful in the role Required Experience Experience of working in at least 1 of the following roles: ● A football coaching role ● A analyst or video capture role ● Played football at any level. Knowledge and/or experience of at least 1 of the following: ● Football coach ● Leading a team ● Recording football matches ● Editing footage and making short movies ICT experience of a video editing software is preferable, but not essential.
