Vehicle Technician – Join Our Skilled Team We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vehicle repairs, following approved methods and guidelines to ensure optimal outcomes. Your expertise will be key in diagnosing issues efficiently, completing repairs within designated timeframes, and ensuring that all work is accurately documented to meet company policies and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out vehicle repairs in line with manufacturer instructions, focusing on efficiency and adhering to set timeframes. Use materials and consumables efficiently while following supplier guidelines. Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, including downloading repair instructions from ISTA, in accordance with company standards. Continuously improve your skills through ongoing learning and training. Take ownership of each vehicle repair, ensuring accountability throughout the process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the team, workshop, and management to ensure seamless communication and task completion. Remain flexible in handling various duties and shift schedules. Comply with relevant working time regulations and complete required training as needed. Requirements: Level 3 City and Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. At least 3 years of experience in the motor trade. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Full, valid driving license. Solid education, including core GCSE subjects. Desirable Skills & Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Customer-focused approach with a positive and constructive attitude. Creative and adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to make quick decisions in critical situations. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing tasks and schedules. Familiarity with BMW repair methods and guidelines is a plus. Additional Information: Flexibility in shift work is required. Willingness to take on ad hoc duties and actively promote company values.
