Product Strategy and Launch Manager / Business Analyst Duration: 6 months – Feb to July 2025 – could extend If the product is successful Location: Hybrid -Blackburn office (Blackburn: Shadsworth Rd, Blackburn BB1 2PR ) Key Responsibilities Value Proposition & Strategy Develop and articulate the POC’s unique value proposition, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends. Conduct stakeholder interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to refine the product strategy. Business Case Development Lead the creation of comprehensive business cases, including ROI analysis, financial projections, and pricing strategies. Evaluate different commercialization models and distribution channels for maximal revenue and market impact. Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning Design and execute the GTM strategy, encompassing positioning, segmentation, marketing tactics, and communication plans. Collaborate with operations, marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and efficient resource allocation. Product Roadmap & Requirements Translate high-level objectives into product requirements and milestones, aligning technical deliverables with strategic goals. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, R&D) to ensure smooth implementation and timely delivery. Project & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, partners, clients) to gather input, validate hypotheses, and manage expectations. Report on key performance metrics, progress, and risks, providing data-driven recommendations for project pivots or adjustments. Market and Customer Insights Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify new opportunities for product innovation or value-added services. Incorporate feedback loops and continuous improvement methodologies into the POC lifecycle. Risk Assessment & Regulatory Compliance Identify potential risks (technical, commercial, and regulatory) and work with relevant teams to develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., safety, data privacy) relevant to Fire & Security solutions. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Product Management certification is advantageous. Experience: 5 years in Product Management, Strategy, or Business Analysis roles. Demonstrated experience bringing complex B2B or IoT-oriented products to market. Familiarity with Fire & Security or related industries is highly beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficient in product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Strong understanding of connected devices, cloud platforms, and data integration concepts. Business Acumen: Proven track record of developing go-to-market strategies, business models, and financial analyses. Ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable product roadmaps.
