Position: Fluent Welsh Teaching Assistant
Location: Swansea
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £83.85 daily rate

What We’re Looking For:
1. Fluency in Welsh: We require a candidate who can communicate confidently in Welsh to help foster a bilingual environment and enhance children’s Welsh language skills.
2. Childcare Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable, but not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to supporting children in their learning journey.
3. Full-time Commitment: We’re looking for someone who is ready to commit to a full-time role and be a reliable presence in our school community.
4. A Valid Driver’s License: The ability to drive is a must, as you may be required to assist with school trips or travel to other locations for school activities.
5. Kind, Patient, and Approachable: Our ideal candidate will have a nurturing and caring approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff alike.
What You Will Do:
1. Support classroom teaching by providing 1:1 and small group assistance to students in both Welsh and English.
2. Work closely with teachers to create and deliver engaging lessons, promoting bilingual learning.
3. Encourage children to develop their Welsh-speaking skills in a fun and interactive way.
4. Help children with additional learning needs and provide a tailored approach to support their individual learning styles.
5. Assist with the organization of school activities and events, including trips and extracurricular clubs.
6. Be a positive role model for students, promoting good behaviour, respect, and a love for learning.
