Due to some recent significant contract wins we are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Dundee.
The Role
As an Electrical Project Manager at Emtec Building Services, you will be responsible for delivering work packages safely, within budget, on time and to client specifications. You will work with a team of project engineers on exciting electrical projects in Dundee and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead site-based teams to ensure adherence with company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance and Purchasing.
2. Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard in compliance with relevant British Standards and codes of practice.
3. Establish and manage firm financial targets to achieve predetermined objectives, including regular reporting of financial status to the Commercial Manager.
4. Facilitate tendering processes for additional project works to accommodate client requirements.
5. Lead, motivate and develop site-based teams.
6. Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing customer base.
8. Offer technical support to both customers and site-based teams utilising resources from centralised departments, specialist suppliers and sub-contractors.
9. Provide the necessary support and training to enhance the effectiveness of the business unit and business as a whole.
What we are looking for
1. Demonstrated prior experience in M&E Project Management coupled with strong Electrical technical knowledge.
2. Ideally qualified to at least HNC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
3. Proficiency in managing intricate commercial, design, financial and project aspects of multi-disciplinary contracts.
4. Capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships.
5. Exhibits a high level of self-motivation, organisational ability, and dedication to meeting deadlines.
6. Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service.
