The Opportunity
This position is field based, andis part of the Point of Care division. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology. We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Account Manager to join the team.
As the Market Access Manager, you will be essential for expanding markets and ensuring sustainable business growth amid evolving regulations and cost containment measures. The role involves developing and executing market access strategies for both pre- and post-launch products, tailored to specific European countries. It focuses on optimizing pricing, access, and reimbursement for the POC portfolio, addressing barriers to patient access and funding, and ensuring strong product uptake and growth.
Primary Objectives
1. Develop access strategies for POC in key European markets (UK, Germany, France, Italy).
2. Build value dossiers using clinical trials, HEOR, and real-world evidence.
3. Engage with payors and reimbursement committees for product inclusion and guidelines.
4. Lead market access for new and existing POC products.
5. Collaborate with medical departments and local societies on guidelines and policies.
6. Build relationships with key payers, opinion leaders, and regulators.
7. Implement strategies for optimal reimbursement and market positioning.
8. Identify and engage strategic influencers to improve product accessibility.
9. Ensure strategic positioning with external stakeholders.
10. Address issues affecting new product entry and influence relevant groups.
11. Partner with local stakeholders for mutually beneficial initiatives.
12. Establish partnerships with significant accounts to achieve market access goals.
13. Share insights on health economics and business opportunities.
14. Implement national campaigns and strategies as directed.
15. Comply with company policies and procedures.
What you’ll do
16. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within teams and head office.
17. Develop and implement pricing and reimbursement strategies for new and existing products.
18. Articulate product value, conduct health economics research, and lead price negotiations.
19. Lead pre-launch and launch activities with key stakeholders, tracking success with KPIs.
20. Establish strategic partnerships with KOLs, societies, policymakers, and payers.
21. Monitor and influence policies related to access, reimbursement, pricing, and tenders.
22. Provide input for new product introductions based on local needs.
23. Maintain and share healthcare system, therapy area, and product knowledge.
24. Understand customer priorities to improve patient care through joint projects.
25. Identify and engage priority stakeholders to influence product adoption.
Qualifications
26. Degree level or equivalent, preferably in a Medical/science background
27. Candidate must be fluent in English, additional languages are preferred (German, French)
Experience
28. Market Access experience in key European markets ·
29. Experience working with stakeholders in reimbursement committees and in public/private health insurances
30. Experience in compiling value dossiers for key European markets (e.g. UK, Germany, France, Italy)
31. Previous demonstrated experience of achieving inclusion of products in guidelines and achieving reimbursement on national level and/or regional level
