Clean Tech is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement.
Summary
Repair and maintain the recycling Process Lines, Extruders, and Auxiliary equipment associated with recycling lines. Electrical troubleshooting, motors, chillers, conveyors, grinders, boilers, and any other equipment installed within Clean Tech.
Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Location: Dundee, MI
Shift: 3-2-2-3 schedule (3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)
Nights: 7pm-7:30am

What you’ll be doing as an Industrial Electrician:
1. Investigate, troubleshoot and review machinery and equipment problems looking to implement corrective actions.
2. Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution.
3. Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
4. Operate and test equipment electrically and mechanically for performance and determine if repairs and scheduled maintenance are successful and ensure longevity of the repair.
5. Perform work requiring a thorough working knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation, and application of equipment.
6. Install, wire, or re-wire electrical devices, such as contractors, overloads, photo eyes, solenoid valves, motors, relays, VFDs, and heater bands.
Qualifications for an Industrial Electrician:
1. Minimum of 1 year hands-on electrical experience.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge & skills.
3. Ability to diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective measures.
4. Ability to troubleshoot de-energized/live circuits, PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls, Motors, and Sensors.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of wiring and designing of circuits (required).
6. Experience reading schematics/blueprints.
