SUMMARY
We're looking to recruit a professional, organised and punctual individual with previous experience in the office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our business functions, providing support to various departments, and maintaining efficient office processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate daily administrative activities to ensure smooth workflow within the office.
* Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of business operations, including filing documents and managing databases.
* Prepare Reports: Compile and prepare reports, presentations, and other essential documents.
* Coordinate Meetings: Schedule and organise meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
* Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitoring expenses, and managing financial records.
* Support HR Functions: Aid in onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and managing employee schedules.
* Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
* Inventory Management: Oversee office supplies, ordering and restocking as necessary.
* Project Coordination: Support project planning and execution by tracking timelines, resources, and deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
* Proficient in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and QuickBooks/Sage.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Familiarity with general office procedures and practices.
