Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance & Leasing (CBAFL) Team where you will provide an efficient and effective service to Hirers, Suppliers and Brokers, understanding their needs and requirements, working to exceed those wherever possible, along with providing solid and consistent support to the Sales team.
The role includes all activities involved in the processing and management of finance applications and agreements, ensuring we deliver an efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work closely with Sales/Customers to smooth the onboarding and agreement set-up processes with a focus on getting things right first time and providing an efficient, effective service to our customers, providing real-time updates to customers and other interested parties when required.
2. Provide support to the Sales/Customers with processing of new proposals, including checks on anti-money laundering, credit searching, linking exposures and loading and checking assets.
3. Responsible for checking and collating documentation and associated paperwork in a timely manner to ensure Customer needs are met and CBAFL are in full compliance with current legislation and credit approvals.
4. Preparing accurate payments to suppliers, brokers and customers.
5. Ensure all relevant internal checks and reviews are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
6. Accurate loading of all types of finance agreements to platforms used by Asset including Salesforce and Alfa, with a full understanding of how each agreement and product works.
7. Support Sales Team by speaking to Customers and internal stakeholders to progress with new business transactions.
8. Responsible for issuing Welcome Pack to all customers within agreed timescales and including all relevant documentation.
9. Process deposits and initial payments on ALFA system.
10. Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

1. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
2. Proven experience of working proactively and taking initiative.
3. Numerate with analytical ability.
4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, quick to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
6. Experience of providing excellent Customer support.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
1. Good knowledge of Microsoft Products.
2. Previous knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry.
