Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Warehouse Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the logistics, supply chain, and customs bonded industry, with extensive knowledge of air and ocean import/export operations and compliance with CAA and Air Export legislations. The Senior Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, manage three warehouse managers, a full team of warehouse operatives, and ensure the efficient and compliant operation of our warehouse and distribution facilities. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Oversee and manage three warehouse managers responsible for day-to-day operations. Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to warehouse staff. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams. Operations Management: Oversee air and ocean import/export operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing. Manage logistics warehouse distribution to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CAA and Air Export legislations. Maintain and manage customs bonded warehouse operations in accordance with regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor compliance programs and procedures. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and systems. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order processing. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner. Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Reporting and Presentations: Utilize Microsoft Excel for month-end reporting functions, including data analysis and visualization. Create PowerPoint presentations for meetings with customers, highlighting key performance metrics and operational updates. Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management within the logistics, supply chain, or customs bonded industry. Extensive knowledge of air and ocean import/export operations. Strong understanding of CAA and Air Export legislations and compliance requirements. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis. Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
