Overall Purpose of the Role
We are pleased to announce a new 27 month full time Research Associate opportunity with the Arts Council England (ACE) funded Creative Health GM Place Partnership and Civic University Board (CUB).
The Research Associate will be hosted by Dr Simon Parry on the team leading on the Creative Health GM Place Partnership. Ideally, this will include some days embedded with the GM Creative Health team and wider Population Health team at NHS Greater Manchester.
A Collaboration Group formed by CUB nominees will oversee the Fellowship and the work programme. The CUB is a collaborative initiative established in Sept 2021, which comprises GM Universities and GMCA, aimed at bridging the gap between research, policymaking and residents across key themes in the city-region. It brings together academic institutions, policymakers, residents and practitioners to generate evidence-based solutions for GM's pressing issues.
The Research Associate will lead the process evaluation of the Creative Health GM Place Partnership, examining a policy intervention designed to embed creative health approaches into a health and social care ecosystem.
The Creative Health GM Place Partnership aims to facilitate and evaluate the integration of creative and cultural approaches within Greater Manchester's health and social care ecosystem which includes NHS Greater Manchester (Greater Manchester's Integrated Care System), Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and health and care providers across the 10 GM localities.
The researcher will play a central role in developing a framework to understand the extent to which the Creative Health GM Place Partnership is able to facilitate the sustainable embedding of creative health approaches and will coordinate the identification, collection and analysis of relevant data to support this understanding.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an ambitious, multi-strand project designed to inform transformative practices within health and social care systems.
