Job Title: HR Advisor Salary: £30,000 per annum The role The specialist Homecare group is a leading provider of comprehensive care services dedicated to improving the quality of life for the individuals we support. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care across a range of services. We have an exciting role for someone to join our small but mighty people division as our HR Advisor supporting our Complex Care Choices, Person Centred Living and Home not Hospital divisions. Based out of our head office in Nottingham City Centre, this role is a true generalist position. You’ll be supporting the HR Director and the wider team across a wide range of people activities from supporting our line managers with day-to-day HR people operations, to driving our engagement and culture agenda. What you’ll be responsible for: • Be a trusted Advisor to our line managers within your remit, helping them to excel in the world of people management and team effectiveness with advice, support and challenge. • Support our managers in delivering a top tier employee experience from support with delivering an excellent onboarding experience through development and all other aspects of the employee lifecycle • Have level of expertise with employment relations, proactively managing complex employee relations issues, support and advise managers on HR related issues & policies. • Support our career pathway and development plans developing our support workers and managers with new skills and capability throughout their time with us • Support business change. It’s a big part of what we do in a culture that is ever evolving and improving and doing things differently. • Improve our People systems, data, paperwork, reporting & analytics through the effective use of our HR system BambooHR • Be up to date with HR legislative changes and have your finger on the pulse in terms of what’s on trend within the HR space • Continuous improvement of our processes and policies - it’s got to be done and done well • Support and foster the culture we’re so proud of, one that allows people to be themselves and do their best work. • Working with the rest of the team on exciting engagement projects What we’re looking for in you: • CIPD level 3/5 or equivalent • You’ve worked in HR role over the past few years and gained a solid understanding of HR operations and employment relations in a fast paced, growing & driven environment • You’re a values driven individual who can align themselves to our core values • Ability to turn your hand to pretty much anything. We’re a small team so we need to be flexible. • Smart, curious, inquisitive - we need someone who can use their initiative to quickly grasp what challenges come our way and in-still confidence to the business. • A curious approach to problem solving.
