Due to continued growth in the topographical survey department, we now have an exciting opportunity for a remote Land Surveyor to join our geospatial survey team based in the south of the UK in any of the following counties:
* Hertfordshire
* Oxfordshire
* Buckinghamshire
* Hampshire
* Surrey
* Sussex
The successful candidate will be provided with a work van, equipment, and laptop to work autonomously providing surveying services to support our clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water, and transport sectors in the UK and overseas.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting our Land Surveyors in data collection through multiple practices.
* Undertaking any other activities required to help our senior surveyors complete their work.
* Completing site documentation for site work crews.
* Drafting data or helping finalize reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience delivering land surveys essential.
* Good understanding of surveying practices and control networks.
* Competent user of survey instrumentation – GPS, Total Stations.
* Must hold a UK Driving License.
Advantageous:
* Experience in 3D Scanning and registration.
* HND or equivalent qualification.
* Member of an industry organization (RICS, CICES or ICE).
* Monitoring experience.
* Experience using Leica or Trimble equipment.
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
