As an EHV Construction Project Engineer - SAP, you will play a crucial role in delivering engineering activities within your allocated project team. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Programme Managers, Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Alliance Partners, Contractors, and other members of the Investment Delivery Management team to ensure the successful delivery of our goals. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the management of substation and cabling construction works.
2. Ensuring safety management.
3. Delivering Capital works Construction projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Construction programmes for UK Power Networks owned assets operating at voltages through the range 400V to 132kV. You will work with Project Managers to ensure that all programmes of work are delivered to time, budget, and quality drivers. Additionally, you will manage budgets relating to construction delivery, ensure compliance with CDM and UK Power Networks Health and Safety policies, and develop site-specific H,S & E procedures.
We are looking for a candidate with:
1. Experience in distribution systems through the range 400V to 132kV.
2. Minimum HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3. Working knowledge of distribution HV Systems.
4. Preferably a Senior Authorised Person as defined by the Distribution Safety Rules.
5. Relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH (essential).
