Why this job matters
The role is responsible for delivering high-quality, impactful learning experiences that engage colleagues and drive business performance. Using a diverse skill set, they will facilitate face-to-face, virtual, and digital learning to maximise colleague engagement and business impact.
The Learning & Skills Delivery Professional will collaborate with the wider L&D team to translate business challenges and objectives into blended, engaging, and effective learning experiences. They will leverage a mix of approaches, insights, and facilitation techniques to create an inclusive, motivating, and results-driven learning environment, ensuring colleagues develop and apply key skills for both current and future success.
Beyond learning delivery, this role will partner with Regional Leaders and Commercial Managers across the Retail Estate to enhance organisational capability, uplift performance, and support Retail in achieving its strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
•Delivers learning solutions to enhance organisational capability, improve performance, and create a positive learner experience.
•Facilitates the Retail Welcome Learning Journey for new Guides, supporting store leaders in developing their teams and proactively sharing feedback with the wider L&D team to accelerate time to competence and reduce early attrition.
•Engages with the wider learning team and business to communicate planned training activities and encourage participation.
•Adapts to diverse learning preferences, ensuring all participants are actively involved while fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
•Delivers engaging, impactful, and memorable learning experiences that drive behavioural change in line with defined learning outcomes.
•Coaches store leaders and Guides to develop core capabilities, ensuring learning is embedded in daily behaviours and skills.
•Facilitates peer learning by connecting and nurturing groups with a shared purpose to enhance capability and reinforce learning.
•Works collaboratively with the learning experience teams to contribute to the full learning design process (define, discover, design, develop, deploy, iterate) for successful project execution.
•Partners with Regional and Commercial Leaders, providing learning insights and conducting needs analysis to identify skill and performance priorities.
•Shares best practices and insights with the wider Retail and Learning teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

•Proactive & Adaptable – Works independently with minimal supervision, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Flexible to travel across UK regions as required.
•Retail & Business Knowledge (Desired) – Strong understanding of the retail environment and its operational challenges.
