We are recruiting Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) to support in the running and continued development of an integrated SDEC within the Emergency Floor. If you are a qualified ACP or just qualifying with a master's level award or equivalent and keen to take on an extended role within an Urgent and Emergency Care environment, we would welcome your application. You will be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as a clinician in a diverse multi skilled team. We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses. The Advanced Care Practitioner will formulate clinical decisions and treatment plans to manage the urgent and/or emergency patient illness and injury. The Advanced Care Practitioner will demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills in the management of care of the urgent and/or emergency patients. They will carry out holistic needs assessments of patients, initiating interventions and referring to members of the multidisciplinary teams as appropriate. They will exercise advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement for the development and review of care protocols and training for staff within their area of specialism. Audit and monitoring of standards of patient care, using the results to influence practice, thereby continually improving evidence-based practice and delivery6 of patient focused care. They will be required to develop and maintain links with local and national strategic organisations. The duties and responsibilities listed below should be undertaken in accordance with the levels of competence as defined in the KSF outline for the post. In addition, staff ar4e expected to act in accordance with the values and behaviours of the Trust. There is an expectation that all staff will lead by example, encouraging and promoting cross-professional working across the directorate. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is required to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
