As the LinkedIn Specialist – User/Volunteer Acquisition at SkilledUp Life, you will spearhead our efforts to attract passionate individuals and professionals to volunteer with our organization. Leveraging the extensive reach and networking capabilities of LinkedIn, you will develop and implement strategies to effectively recruit volunteers, build relationships, and drive sign-ups for our various programs and initiatives.
Activities:
1. Reach out to professionals and individuals through personalized messages, In Mail, and connection requests, inviting them to explore volunteer opportunities with SkilledUp Life.
2. Develop and execute creative content strategies on SkilledUp Life’s LinkedIn page to promote volunteer opportunities, events, and initiatives.
3. Craft engaging posts, articles, and updates to highlight the impact of volunteering and showcase the experiences of current volunteers.
4. Cultivate relationships with potential volunteers by engaging in meaningful conversations, answering inquiries, and providing information about volunteer roles.
5. Manage volunteer inquiries and applications received through LinkedIn, ensuring timely follow-up and communication throughout the recruitment process.
6. Monitor key performance metrics related to volunteer acquisition efforts on LinkedIn, such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and volunteer sign-up rates.
7. Prepare regular reports and updates on the effectiveness of LinkedIn recruitment strategies, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated interest in talent acquisition, recruitment, or volunteer management, with a focus on leveraging LinkedIn for sourcing and outreach.
2. Ability in utilizing LinkedIn’s features, tools, and functionalities for talent acquisition and engagement.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with potential volunteers effectively.
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently, yet collaborative in a team environment.
