Responsibilities of an Aspiring SEN Teacher:
1. Providing one-on-one support to students and in group sessions by following their individual targets.
2. Working alongside teachers and other support staff.
3. Creating a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere and environment.
4. Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
5. Preparing your resources and planning for your sessions so you can deliver a smooth lesson focusing on communication and life skills using applied behavioural analysis.
6. Providing behavioural management support to help reduce behaviours.
7. Tracking and logging pupil progress throughout the day, collaborating with the team if targets need to be adjusted.
Requirements of an Aspiring SEN Teacher:
