This new, specialist role requires experience and knowledge of setting up, promoting, and running Workplace Wellbeing initiatives and sporting events / activity programmes.
Working Well is commissioned by Essex County Council and sits within the Essex Wellbeing Service. This fast paced, innovative programme supports the national and local agenda around workplace health, wellbeing, and inequalities, ensuring that the Essex workforce is healthy and productive.
Main duties of the job
This new, specialist role requires experience and knowledge of setting up, promoting, and running Workplace Wellbeing initiatives and sporting events / activity programmes. The post holder will work closely with the Essex Working Well Manager and Workplace Health Event Outreach Co-ordinator to develop and oversee the day-to-day running of the business parks programme, organise sporting events, activities or initiatives to encourage and support more physical activity within the workplace, attend business events and support with social media marketing to promote the Working Well offer and engagement across Essex.

Job description
Job responsibilities
The role will require excellent project management, social media communication and IT skills, with experience of using a wide range of software packages.
Liaise with the Working Well Manager to ensure efficient and effective allocation of MDT resources using an asset based approach
Support the Working Well Manager and Workplace Health Events Outreach Coordinator to map and identify key businesses and localities across Essexand capture insight about their workplace wellbeing needs
Support the ongoing calendar of Workplace Wellbeing Events and setting up sporting events / or physical activity initiatives, with a range of partner organisations that will promote and increase access to Working Well, Essex Wellbeing Service and other partner services
Promote Essex Working Well and attend a range of workplace networking events
Develop communications to aid promotion and strengthen the Essex Working Well presence on social media and with multi-disciplinary partners.
Providing input and support to other members of the team to promote the serviceand evaluate Working Well programmes, events, and initiatives.
Maintain accurate workflow data to ensure relevant evidence and information is captured to ensure effective reporting outcomes for Essex Working Well and wider Essex Wellbeing Service for ECC will also work towards the ambitions for the Smokefree Generation.
Ensure appropriate health and safety protocols are followed for sporting or physical activity events.

2. Degree/NVQ L6 or demonstrable experience in public health/health improvement/behaviour change/workplace health/business project management/community development

3. Evidence of CPD, MECC, WHC training or equivalent, NHS Health Checks, Smoking Cessation, MHFAider
Work related knowledge and experience

4. Experience of event planning and management incl sports. Experience of managing multiple caseloads/multi agency working,confident delivering presentations at networking or business meetings
